ABSTRACT
The possible danger of plastic covers and bags in producing suffocation, particularly in children is stressed. A well documented case of anoxia produced by the ignorant use of plastic crib covering and excessive steaming in a baby is presented. The pathogenesis of the interesting lesions in the brain and kidneys is discussed. (Summary)
