The paraffinoma

ABSTRACT

During the last 10 years, I have seen 25 cases of paraffinoma of the nose complaining of disfigurement and tenderness over the mass. These cases were clinically grouped according to the site of injection as shown by representative cases. It has been observed that paraffin is injected into the nose for cosmetic improvement, but with the passing of months and years, many developed complications which were disfiguring. Surgical removal for each group was briefly described. (Summary)
