Effect of Taijiquan Combined with Chinese Drugs on Rheumatoid Arthritis / 中国康复理论与实践

ABSTRACT

@# Objective To investigate the clinical effect of Wenyangtongluo soup combined with Taijiquan on rheumatoid arthritis (RA).Methods80 RA patients were randomly divided into the treatment group and control group with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given Wenyangtongluo soup, and the treatment group was added with Taijiquan exercise. 3 months later, the erythrocyte sedimemtation (ESR), rheumatoid facter (RF), C-reactive protein (CRP) were closely observed, and the clinical effects of two groups were evaluated.ResultsEffective rate of the treatment group was 90.0%, significantly higher than 70.0% of the control group ( P<0.05). Moreover, ESR, RF, CRP of the treatment group were remarkably improved ( P<0.05).ConclusionWenyangtongluo soup combined with Taijiquan can improve indexes such as ESR, RF and CRP of RA patients, and clinical effect.
