ABSTRACT

People in the post-Covid situation consider this as a challenge for personal, social, and organisational goals. The pandemic due to Covid-19 has brought in a drastic change in the attitude preferences and expectations of consumers. To meet the changes in the expectations of consumers, the businesses are forced to bring changes in marketing strategies using the business intelligence (BI) tools. This chapter explores how BI tools can capitalise this social distancing environment into opportunities for holistic growth of organisations, societies, and individuals. It explores the theoretical and pragmatic perspectives of marketing strategies in the post-Covid Era that can be developed using the BI tools. Considering the advancement due to BI, the chapter gives a workable marketing model to help business organizations attain their goals. The research methodology adopted is exploratory in nature, which identifies the need for marketing activities of corporates. The research maps available BI tools and techniques to execute marketing activities more effectively in this virtually connected business environment. ABSTRACT

A digital voting system which allows people to vote sitting at their home based on their face recognition. The votes will be counted and saved in a blockchain, based structure which is secure and immutable, thus giving availability with security in a system. The traditional voting system does not allow people to vote sitting at their home. Considering the situation of covid everything is going digital. Questions on EVM from losing parties regarding some malfunctioning. Digital, secure, reliable, user friendly and a low-cost system. Standing in long queues during voting is a tiring and time-consuming process. DDoS assaults, polling booth capturing, vote tampering and manipulation, malware attacks, and other security issues are all present in today's voting systems. The voting process may be made safer, more transparent, immutable, and dependable by utilizing blockchain technology. Our current voting system is questioned by a variety of stakeholders, including political parties and ordinary citizens, because votes are manipulated, citizens find voting a time-consuming task, and, most importantly, the current pandemic situation has digitized almost all areas of interest in our county. ABSTRACT

A novel coronavirus strain 2019-nCoV has caused a rapid global pandemic-COVID-19. Scientists have taken onto the task of characterizing this new virus and understanding how this virus has transmitted to humans. All preliminary studies have found some striking similarities between this new virus and the SARS-CoV that caused a similar kind of epidemic in 2002-2003. Through bioinformatics tools, a great deal of information has been gathered about the origin, evolution and zoonosis of this virus. We, in this review, report the symptoms, mode of transmission and available and putative treatments to tackle 2019-nCoV infections. We also comprehensively summarize all the information so far made available regarding the genome, evolution and zoonosis of this virus.
