The world is currently going through one of the worst health crises secondary to infection by a new coronavirus with high transmissibility and mortality, which has impacted multiple aspects. On the other hand, obesity at this time represents one of the greatest threats in the health sector, due to its great relationship with morbidity and mortality at the cardiometabolic level, this entails a high cost of the disease.
