ABSTRACT
For over a decade, the European Commission has been setting up the European Digital Competence Framework for Citizens, also known as DigComp. The most recent update, DigComp 2.2, was released in March 2022. The epidemic of Covid-19 highlighted the need to develop digital competences in primary school students systematically. The use of ICT and, as a result, the development of digital skills and competences are integrated into the curriculum of every subject, including geography. It is, therefore, necessary to consider how to design teaching content, taking into account modern teaching approaches, to develop all digital competences consciously and also give feedback to students on the level of digital competence they have achieved.
