ABSTRACT
We have developed a novel design to enable sample partitioning in thermoplastic material without any surface modification. The device is made of Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC) and sealed with a Pressure Sensitive Adhesive film (PSA). This feature enables low-cost, large-scale manufacturing and rapid deployment, two qualities that make our device a promising platform for the surveillance and monitoring of the spread of emerging pathogens and the development of a rapid Point Of Care viral diagnostic. © 2020 CBMS-0001
