ABSTRACT
It's something so many in global healthcare expected, even prepared for, yet the sheer scale and complexity of the COVID-19 pandemic has left us awestruck. Lives have been lost, economies have suffered, countries have locked down but, as yet, no cure has been found. We need to find an antidote and we need to do so quickly. One solution may lie in ultra-personalized genetic medicine — in this case, medicine that can be quickly designed to specifically target SARS-CoV-2, the novel virus that causes COVID. © 2020.
