ABSTRACT
Pandemic periods are one of the reasons patients have difficulty accessing healthcare services. Even diseases such as diabetes mellitus with a high prevalence and easy to diagnose today may delay the diagnosis of patients. Likewise, difficulties may be experienced in the follow-up of these patients due to pandemic period restrictions. We presented 1 diabetes mellitus patient delayed in diagnosis during the COVID-19 pandemic period and 2 diabetes mellitus patients who had difficulties in follow-up due to pandemic restrictions in this case reports. © 2017 AOS-Estratagia and Inovacao.
