ABSTRACT
The subject of the article is about face-To-face and distance learning, which will be a challenge for teachers in returning to classes after the coronavirus pandemiciBased on this scenario, the study aims to reflect on the return to classes and possible teaching trends in elementary schools in the municipality of Canoas in the state of Rio Grande do SuliThe methodological approach of this research is qualitative and is characterized as a literature review from books and scientific articles from the last 5 yearsiThe theoretical framework of the research is supported by authors such as Moran, 2015), Förh, 2019), Santana and Sales, 2020), Horn and Staker, 2015)iThe results show that the Covid-19 pandemic accelerated the innovation processes in municipal schools of basic education, modifying the means of teaching and learningiWe understand that in this new paradigm digital education emerges with an emphasis on digital, personalized and collective literacy hybrid education. © 2021 UNIVERSIDADE FEEVALEÂ .
