Management of organic agriculture ecosystems in times of Covid-19

ABSTRACT
The objectives of this study are to identify the factors that influence the management of the organic agriculture ecosystem duriPng the Covid-19 pandemic, to know some good practices, and to determine the characteristics of the Internal Control System (ICS). The methodology used was a systematic, descriptive review of secondary sources of information. The results show a high interest in promoting ecoagriculture in the public and private context in response to the current food shortages arising from the limitations of various kinds caused by the pandemic. The conclusions shows that the management of ecosystems was affected due to the pandemic, the difficulties in having trained personnel to rotate crops and offer the products in the market, due to the sanitary restrictions arisen. In addition, the producers presented their perception indicating that the measures taken should have been implemented long ago and not due to the sanitary crisis, they promote that the regulations continue in the long term due to the decrease in CO2 levels. © 2022, Universidad del Zulia.
