ABSTRACT
Fyodorov and Molovtseva discuss mutual recognition of professional qualifications and the freedom of movement for workers in the EU and EAEU. The difficulties that EU member states are encountering in the mutual recognition of professional qualifications during the coronavirus pandemic well illustrate the practical, applied nature of harmonizing national legislation in this field. To ensure freedom of movement, member states are required to provide and comply with a number of conditions, including granting the right to free movement to workers' family members, creating an integrated job vacancy information system, instituting a procedure for submitting documents for employment, social assistance, etc.
