ABSTRACT

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected all sectors of the economy, agriculture and livestock production being no exception, with the challenge of ensuring continuity in the production, delivery and access to foodstuffs. This dossier of the INRAE Productions journal offers a first assessment of the consequences of the pandemic on the economy of animal production, from short circuits to international trade.
