Web System for Appointment Management in Psychological Care Centers: A Case Study

ABSTRACT
The appointment management process of the psychological care centers is affected by the crisis manifested by COVID 19. As a result of this problem, a case study will be carried out focused on the company PsicoMás where a software based on the agile XP methodology will be built. This research aims to implement a web system focused on the appointment management process. The results of the research will be obtained from two types of groups A control group, to which no stimulus will be applied, and an experimental group, in which the developed web system will be applied. Finally, a comparison will be made based on the results of the aforementioned groups. By applying the developed system, the company presented improvements such as The decrease in times and the increase in the level of patient satisfaction. © 2021, Associacao Iberica de Sistemas e Tecnologias de Informacao.
