ABSTRACT
Corona virus which started in 2019 has given a bad impact on human lives. It has taken several lives round the world increasing shock and fear among people. Authorities have suggested measures to prevent spread such as hand sanitization and social distancing. Several works has been presented to prevent when people move out for purchase of commodities, attend to work and so on. Much work on hand sanitization is presented by researchers. In our work shoe sanitization process is presented. Automatic shoe sanitizing is also necessary like hand sanitization as there is a possibility of spread of virus through legs too. Sanitizers have proven to be the greatest shield against the virus. Santizers remove bacteria from the surface up to a certain safe level. Social distancing, washing hands and wearing mask have become mandatory to stop the spread of ongoing pandemic which is devastating the world. Washing hands with sanitizer is the most important thing to control the spread of infection in public places. But much attention to one of the common virus carrier “shoes” is not noticed. By this system, we can disinfect the shoes by using liquid sanitizer. The final output looks like a shoe mat which have sanitizer sprayer beneath it. With the help of IR sensor, it detects the shoes and further process is continued where the liquid sanitizer is bound to come out which results in sanitizing of shoes. © 2022, The Author(s), under exclusive license to Springer Nature Switzerland AG.
