ABSTRACT
Corona virus or Covid-19 is a novel communicable disease. India is the second most populous country after China;therefore Covid-19 was difficult to control. The country was trapped under lockdown and social distancing since 24 March 2020 in order to prevent the spread of disease among 1.3 billion of population, due to which some psychological impact is definitely expected, Hence, the present study was conducted in which socio-demographic and psychological data of six hundred and twenty five people were gathered through online questionnaire. The data analysis clearly demonstrates the normal to extensive level of psychological stress, depression, anxiety and nervousness among Indian population. © 2022 South India Medico-Legal Association.
