Sosyal Ağlar ve Örgütsel Çatışma: Devlet Ílkokullarında Bir Uygulama

ABSTRACT

Ílköğretim okullarının temel paydaşları olan öğretmenler, idareciler, veliler ve öğrenciler arasında iletişim, uzaktan ve yüz yüze eğitimi desteklemek gibi amaçlarla sosyal medyayı da kapsayan web 2.0 araçları yaygın olarak kullanılmaktadır. Covid 19 pandemisi öncesinde daha çok öğretmenlerin dijital okur yazarlık becerilerine bağlı olarak, tercihe göre kullanılan web 2.0 araçları salgın önlemleri doğrultusunda yüz yüze eğitime ara verilip uzaktan eğitime geçildiği dönemde zorunlu hale gelmiştir. Bu gelişmeyle birlikte yüz yüze iletişimde yaşanan çatışma ve anlaşmazlıkların sanal ortama taşınma ihtimali ortaya çıkmıştır. Araştırmanın amacı, kullanım alanı gittikçe genişleyen sosyal ağların, örgütsel çatışma yönetimine etkisini incelemektir. Kesitsel tarama araştırması olarak tasarlanan çalışmada veriler anket tekniği ile toplanmıştır. Çalışmanın örneklemini Sakarya il merkezinde bulunan devlet ilkokulları oluşturmaktadır. Araştırmaya göre anketi cevaplayan öğretmenler sosyal ağları ve uygulamaları iletişim ve eğitim süreçlerinde yaygın olarak kullanmakta, sosyal ağların kullanımında çatışma ve anlaşmazlıklar yaşayabilmekte ve söz konusu çatışma ve anlaşmazlıkların aşılmasında etik ilke ve kodların geliştirilmesi fikrini desteklemektedirler.AlternateWeb 2.0 tools, and specifically social media, are widely used in communication amongst the stakeholders of primary schools, including teachers, administrators, parents, and students, with the aims of communication, distance education, and supporting face-to-face education. Before the Covid 19 pandemic, web 2.0 tools, which were used by the preference depending on the digital literacy skills of teachers, have been used compulsorily during the period when face-to-face education was suspended, and distance education was carried out in line with epidemic measures. Thus, it is expected that conflicts and disputes among the members of the schools in face-to-face relations might be seen in the virtual area. This research basically aims to examine the effect of social networks, which are increasingly used, on organizational conflict management. The study is designed as a cross-sectional survey, and the data gathered through a survey developed by the researchers. According to the results of the study, the participant teachers widely use social network tools in communication and education processes;they experience conflicts and disputes by using social networks and support the idea of developing ethical codes and principles to tackle with these disputes.
