ABSTRACT
The specialized literature consecrates the contemporary moment [pre-Covid], that of the logics of globalized capitalism and, in its cultural expressions, called postmodern, as marked by [a] paradigmatic rupture with Cartesian science, in favour of theoretical-methodological models associated with complexity;[b] mobility, inducing the 'erasure' of the territory, placing the place at the centre of the discussion and introducing issue-concepts such as flows, fixed points and networks;and [c] tourism, once a hegemonic phenomenon that marked mentalities, finds itself challenged by such dialogues in conceptual terms and in their practices. In the current scenario of a global pandemic, tourism would be among the most affected cultural practices, accentuating the interpellations to its model of practices. Therefore, this investigation undertakes a bibliographic review and syntheses, with the objective of analyzing such marks in the interrelationship between tourism and mobility, assuming that they are complex and dialogic concepts. The results of the research in progress allow us to infer that mobility is not yet a key concept for the study of sociocultural phenomena associated with tourism as would be expected. Faced with the consequences of the Covid-19 pandemic, the rethinking of such a gap begins.
