ABSTRACT
Currently, Coronavirus has become a global crisis, affecting countries all over the world. It caused death to millions of people. As this virus is widespread, necessary precautions are not being taken by the people. In recent days, checking the temperature is mandatory, since fever is one of the foremost symptoms to sense the presence of this virus. Checking the person's temperature manually is simple, however it is not safe if the other person has this infection. So, an IoT-based Contactless Covid-19 doorbell is designed to act as a doorbell and also scan the temperature of the person. The scanned temperature can be viewed in the blynk app. Another feature is that a camera is fitted in the system so that one can view the person in the app. If the person's Body Temperature is normal, the person can allow them inside by accessing the option in-app to open the door. Once the option is given, it unlocks and opens the door to go in. After a few seconds, it closes the door automatically. If a person has a high Body Temperature, the system alerts the user through the app, that the person has a fever. One can allow them inside, as per their choice. A sanitation system is also fitted, to sanitize their hands. An LCD display is also fitted, to display the Temperature, and the Welcome messages. The contribution of IoT, makes the user see the temperature, the person on the front door, and control the door anywhere in the home. © 2022 IEEE.
