Food Consumption in a State of Exception (?)

ABSTRACT

The contact restrictions and hygiene measures in the Corona pandemic have posed challenges to many people's supply practices. To date, research on impacts of the Corona pandemic on sustainable consumption practices, such as buying products with less packaging, is still in its infancy. Based on qualitative interviews and a standardized customer survey, this article examines how shopping practices and supply routines have changed during the Corona pandemic, also in relation to alternative ways of consumption, such as unpackaged shopping.
