ABSTRACT
Health digital literacy is a new concept representing user’s ability of handling health information from electronic sources. Digital healthcare, Internet access and variety of mobile devices offer approachable information which users have to assess by themselves whether it is reliable or not. COVID-19 pandemic has created vast quantity of digital information which has heightened the necessity of consumers critical selection skills. The aims of the present study are to review the scientific articles related to health digital literacy;to clarify the essence of the concept, and to present the significance and challenges that the new concept poses to recent healthcare.
