Perinatal patients with symptoms of anxiety

ABSTRACT

This chapter provides descriptions, typical clinical presentations, and case reviews of perinatal anxiety and perinatal obsessive-compulsive disorder. The discussed anxiety disorders include generalized anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and illness anxiety disorder as encountered in the perinatal period including pregnancy and 12 months' postpartum.
