ABSTRACT
This article presents an exploratory research, with a qualitative approach, on the use of (un)plugged activities to teach computing and mathematic concepts during the social isolation period imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic. The objective of this research was to analyze the use of such activities as extra resources in the context of remote education to teach computational thinking and mathematics skills to 6-to-9-year-old children. The results showed children's great engagement in the activities, and the acceptance of unplugged activities by both the children and their families. © 2023, Centro de Estudos Educacao e Sociedade - CEDES.
