Childhood and COVID-19. Methodological decisions within the framework of a study on the state of child welfare in Greater La Plata

ABSTRACT

This article presents the set of theoretical -methodological decisions developed within the framework of a research based on a mixed approach on the State of Child Welfare, Household Living Conditions and Care in the face of Preventive and Compulsory Social Isolation by Covid-19 in the cities of La Plata, Berisso and Ensenada. The presentation focuses on two aspects on the one hand, a detailed explanation and reflection on the design, as well as the main methodological decisions are accounted for. On the other hand, the article delves into the challenges inherent to a research conducted through the use of digital mediations.
