Combating Challenges in Health Care Using Blockchain

ABSTRACT

COVID-19 pandemic has enforced the launch of vaccination campaigns worldwide. Along with it, it is equally important to guarantee that the supply chain of vaccination is accessible to all stakeholders. In this research, we look at how the COVID-19 vaccination program can aid in a variety of ways. We propose a system that ensures data integrity and efficient vaccination for beneficiaries. To guarantee, the registration is done on a first-come-first-served basis, eliminating identity theft and other forms of impersonation. Our proposed system vaccination supply chain management (VSCM) uses the Blockchain technology, where smart contracts are developed to monitor and trace the distribution supply. The technique asserts safe shipping and handling of vaccinations.
