The Evolution of International Health: Lessons to Be Learned

ABSTRACT

Despite the United States' unique delivery of healthcare and status as a place of discovery and cutting-edge science, overall life expectancy is actually lower than that of other countries with similar per capita income. In comparison, developing countries around the world are utilizing innovative tactics to provide care to large amounts of people in a cost-effective way.
