Health and law in in the time of COVID-19

ABSTRACT

The pandemic caused by the 2019-nCoV coronavirus has determined the publication of a Royal Decree establishing the state of alarm that has altered the management of health activity and the application of health legislation in its normal parameters, establishing said management under the designated authority, and as an extreme measure the isolation of affected people in hospitals or in their own homes, together with the confinement of the rest of the population in order to stop the spread of said pandemic in our country. © 2020 Ibero-American Law Institute.
