This study aimed to evaluate the soil density, gravimetric moisture, maximum density and relative density of a Oxisol Distrocoeso under different management of pastures and native forest systems. The following pasture management systems were studied IAFP (Integration livestock farming forest); IPF (Integration livestock forest); ILP (Integration livestock farming); P (pasture area); MN (Forest); PIQ (rotated Picket). The experiment was arranged in a completely randomized design in subdivides plots, where plots were the different management systems and sub plots were four soil layers 0 to 0.10m; 0.10 to 0.20m; 0.20 to 0.30 and m from 0.30 to 0.40m. Bulk density was evaluated by the ring sharp edges when it was already measured soil moisture. The maximum density was verified by the Proctor test, and the relative density was obtained by the ratio between the bulk density and maximum density. The management systems did not influence the relative density of the soil. The values of relative density were all above critical levels considered in the literature.
