The study aimed to assess leaf damage caused by different infestation densities and length of stay in contact with the plant at different times of release of the stink bug Euschistus heros to corn seedlings. The experiment was conducted in greenhouse on the campus of the Faculty of Integrated Campo Mourão in Campo Mourão - PR. The experimental design was completely randomized, with four replications. Treatments were arranged in a factorial 4 x 2 x 2 (4 densities of bedbugs, 2 times 2 times and release of remaining close to seedling). The stink bugs were released five days and ten days after seedling emergence staying for five and ten days in contact with them. After removing the bedbugs three weekly reviews of leaf damage following a scale from 0 to 5. The first evaluation was performed immediately after removal of stink bugs in contact with the seedlings were made. Stink bugs caused greater foliar damage to corn seedlings when they were ten days in contact with them and at higher densities used in the first evaluation. There were no significant differences in damage in relation to the times of release of stink bugs.
