Avaliação cirúrgica do paciente renal crônico: revisão de literatura e relato de caso clínico / Surgical Management of Chronic Renal Patients: Literature Review and Clinical Case Peport
Chronic renal insufficiency is characterized by the irreversible loss of a great part of nephrons. Its more important causes can be attributed to disturbances of the blood vessels of the glomeruli, tubercles, the renal interstice, and the inferior part of the urinary tract. Patients with this pathology present alterations that must be consideredduring the oral surgical management. Anemia, hypertension, cardiac congestive heart failure, besides functional alterations of plaques that increase the bleeding time can be present. Based on pertinent literature, theauthors report a clinical case with the objective of establishing a behavior to be followed before, during, and after the oral surgical treatment of chronic renal patients
