Oral health is part of overall health. A cross-sectional descriptive study was carried out to characterize the oral health status of the population served in the odontology service. The universe of work was 4970 patientswho attended the services of odontology and the sample of 2429 patients of new income. Patients were studied, the origin of the patients, age and sex, and the most common oral conditions. Patients with follow-up (51.1 percent), districts close to the hospital (41.1 percent), patients 15 years and older (91.1 percent) and caries and their complications accounted for 65.2 percent. We conclude that follow-up patients, districts near the hospital, patients 15 years and older and dental caries and their complications were the main findings(EU)
