raças e sexos distintos foram atendidos com histórico de
perda dentária e subme¬tidos à
reabilitação. O
planejamento cirúrgico foi realizado por
radiografia intraoral e/ ou
tomografia computadorizada de feixe cônico e realizados com instrumentos desenvolvidos para utilização em
humanos. A
moldagem foi realizada incluindo o
dente contra-lateral e os antagonistas e a
prótese con¬feccionada de em
tempo hábil para a instalação de carga imediata. Todos os
animais se recuperaram prontamente e em apenas um deles houve a necessidade da troca da
prótese em função de
retração gengival(AU)
Five
dogs of different ages, breeds and
gender were attended with a
history of
tooth loss and submit¬ted to
rehabilitation. Surgical
planning was carried out by intra-oral
radiography and/ or
cone-beam computerized tomography and the
treatment performed with tools developed for use in
humans. The molding was carried out including the contra-lateral
tooth and antagonists and the
prosthesis was ma de in
time for the installation by immediate loading. All
animals recovered promptly and in only one of them it was needed the exchange of the
prosthesis due to receding
gums(AU)
