Objective To investigate the correlation between the expression of erythropoietin receptor (EPO-R) and the microvessel density (MVD) in gastric carcinoma tissues. Methods Expression of EPO-R and microvessel density of 50 primary gastric adenocarcinoma specimens were investigated by immunohistochemical methods using antibody to EPO-R and CD31.
