Parkinson's disease (PD) is a common
neurodegenerative disease in middle-
aged and
elderly people, mostly manifesting as motor symptoms such as
resting tremor,
myotonia, motor
bradykinesia, postural
gait abnormalities, and related non-motor symptoms. It can not be cured, but early intervention can largely alleviate the progress and improve the
prognosis of the
disease. Currently, there are limited diagnostic
methods for PD, which mainly rely on doctors'
work experience and
patients' clinical manifestations, with a high
misdiagnosis rate; therefore, objective and effective diagnostic
methods are highly needed. In this
paper, we
review the
research progress of diagnostic
techniques for PD.
