ABSTRACT
A rare case is reported of retroperitoneal papillary adenocarcinoma in a 25-year-old female. Two recurrences were observed after surgical and radiation treatment. The tumour became inoperable after the second recurrence. The duration of the disease was somewhat more than 5 years. The attention is drawn to the difficulty of differential diagnosis with a metastasis. The young age and histological structure allow one to regard the tumour disembryogenetic and originating from the embryonal germs of urinary-genital organs or from the intestinal tube.
