ABSTRACT
Lachnoclostridium phocaeense is a new species in the genus Lachnoclostridium. Lachnoclostridium phocaeense is a Gram-positive anaerobic rod. This strain, Marseille-P3177T (CSUR = P3177) with the below described genome was isolated from the urine sample of a women after kidney transplantation. The strain genome is 3 500 754 bp long with 50.62% G + C content and consists of a single contig (GenBank accession number NZ_LT635479.1).
ABSTRACT
An anaerobic facultative Gram-stain positive bacterium was isolated from human gut microbiota. Strain Marseille-P5551T was considered to be a new genus within the phylum Firmicutes, as it exhibits a 91.87% similarity level with Faecalicatena orotica (NR_117129.1), the phylogenetically closest related species. The draft genome size of strain Marseille-P5551T is 4 142 938 bp with 44.4% of G + C content. We hereby suggest the creation of Luxibacter massiliensis gen. nov., sp. nov., as a new bacterial genus.
ABSTRACT
Bartonella saheliensis strain 077 (= CSUR B644T; = DSM 28003T) is a new bacterial species isolated from blood of the rodent Gerbilliscus gambianus captured in the Sine-Saloum region of Senegal. In this work we describe the characteristics of this microorganism, as well as the complete sequence of the genome and its annotation. Its genome has 2 327 299 bp (G+C content 38.4%) and codes for 2015 proteins and 53 RNA genes.
ABSTRACT
Anaerosphaera massiliensis strain Marseille-P4592T (= CSURP4592T; = CCUG72452T) is a new species isolated from the stool of a 39-year-old male Pygmy from the Democratic Republic of Congo.
ABSTRACT
A polyphasic taxono-genomic strategy was used to describe a new bacterium, strain Marseille-P1935; isolated from the gut of a healthy infant. 16S rRNA sequencing showed that the isolate belongs to the genus Haloimpatiens in the family Clostridiaceae. Phenotypic analysis and whole-genome sequence analyses confirm the status of the new species. We propose the creation of the new species Haloimpatiens massiliensis strain Marseille-P1935T (= CSURP1935T; = DSM100591T).
ABSTRACT
Urinicoccus massiliensis strain Marseille-P1992T (= CSURP1992 = DSM100581) is a species of a new genus isolated from human urine.
ABSTRACT
Enterobacter timonensis strain mt20T (= CSUR P2201T, = DSM101775T) is a new species isolated from a fresh human stool specimen.
ABSTRACT
Bartonella massiliensis sp. nov., strain OS09T (= CSURB624T = DSM 23169), is the type strain of Bartonella massiliensis sp. nov., a new species within the genus Bartonella. It was isolated from a soft tick, Ornithodoros sonrai, vector of recurrent fever collected from Senegalese domestic rodent burrows. This strain is an aerobic, rod-shaped and Gram-negative bacterium. On the basis of taxonogenomic approach, we propose the creation of Bartonella massiliensis sp. nov.
ABSTRACT
Prevotella ihumii strain Marseille-P3385T (= CSURP3385T; = DSM106428T) is a new species isolated from a fresh stool specimen of a healthy woman.
ABSTRACT
Here we describe the basic characteristics of Corynebacterium pacaense strain Marseille-P2417T (= CSUR P2417), Alistipes megaguti strain Marseille-P5997T (= CSUR P5997) and Alistipes provencensis strain Marseille-P2431T (= CSUR P2431 = DSM 102308). The phenotypic criteria, the 16S ribosomal RNA sequencing and MALDI-TOF MS spectra analysis were used to identify and characterize these new bacteria species, which were isolated from fresh human stool specimens.

ABSTRACT
BACKGROUND: In Iran blood products had been available to health care centers on free order to reduce the wastage they were tariffed in 2016. Thus, health care centers must pay for the blood products and take back the payment from the insurance. The aim of this study was to examine the effects of the tariff on consumption, wastage and return rates of blood products in health care centers in Kerman province. MATERIALS AND METHODS: In this retrospective cross-sectional study, demand, delivery and return rates of blood products (fresh frozen plasma, red blood cell and platelet) were examined in 23 health care centers and hospitals before and after the tariff. RESULTS: After the tariff in 2016, the return of unused units of fresh frozen plasma and platelet to the blood transfusion organization was increased and the increase was not statistically significant, but a significant increase was observed in red blood cell return rate and return/delivery ratio. CONCLUSION: Fresh frozen plasma and platelet return rates increased after the tariff resulting in less wastage of unused products but were not statistically meaningful. Tariff was highly effective on the wastage and return of red blood cell therefore it can be considered as a sparing action in the management of red blood cell.
