ABSTRACT

PIP: The Hynie method of determining various properties of human sperm, such as the number per 1 ml, the mobility of the spermatozoids, the index of their longevity, the index of progressive movement, and the average speed of the sperm upon ejaculation, is examined and analyzed. The properties of 100 ejaculates from men of sterile families were examined in an effort to determine any significant anomalies. The Hynie method was observed to have some advantages over other methods: it is easy to apply and provides exact data which are useful in determining spermatozoidal deficiencies in sterility cases.^ieng
