ABSTRACT

Samples of weakly mineralized hydrocarbonate-calcium-magnesium water from the spring of Kurgazak were analyzed during 3 successive years for the purpose of investigating seasonal dynamics of trophic microorganisms.

ABSTRACT

The authors describe unique natural therapeutic factors of the Yangan-Tau health resort including its climatic features, drinking mineral waters, steam-and-air baths, etc. Modern approaches to the exploitation of these resources for the management of various pathological conditions are discussed.

ABSTRACT

The article describes effects of unique thermal springs of Yangan-Tau mountain in patients with locomotor diseases. Effects of gas, steam and thermal factors of the water from the above springs were studied in patients with rheumatoid arthritis who took baths in the sanatorium Yangan-Tau. Changes in the cytokine profile of the patients were analysed.

ABSTRACT

The author reviews geophysical, geological, medical and biophysical studies of therapeutic factors of a unique health resort and sanatorium Yangan-Tau conducted with participation of geological and medical research institutes. Continuous monitoring of biophysical therapeutic factors, experimental and clinical basis of novel rehabilitation techniques allow development of the sanatorium complex Yangan-Tau.
