[The content of lipid peroxidation products in the blood of patients with disseminated sclerosis]. / Soderzhanie produktov perekisnogo okisleniia lipidov v krovi bol'nykh rasseiannym sklerozom.

Lipid peroxidation products were investigated in patients suffering of multiple sclerosis. Activation of the processes of free-radical oxidation was revealed. Employment of antioxidant therapy in the complex treatment of these patients resulted in an improvement of their condition that correlated with positive changes in the process of lipid peroxidation.

[The initial manifestations of cerebral circulatory failure in coal mine workers of the Don Basin]. / Nachal'nye proiavleniia nedostatochnosti krovosnabsheniia mozga u rabochikh ugol'nykh shakht Donbassa.

The authors examined 354 workers of Donbass coal mines with initial manifestations of cerebral circulation insufficiency. It was established that the onset of the disease is in workers over 30 years of age and gradually its frequency increases. Cerebrovascular pathology is more pronounced in miners working at evening and night hours, in particular, in case of unfavourable working conditions. An important place in the development of cerebrovascular pathology belongs to dysfunction of the vegetative nervous system. Prophylactic and therapeutic measures are outlined.
