ABSTRACT

Nossas pacientes foram submetidas à dieta hipocalórica ou à dieta hipocalórica e treinamento físico / The 2- adrenergic receptor is a gene considered as prime candidate for obesity. Structural alterations in this gene have been associated to obesity. Its importance in the energy expenditure is due to its role the main regulator of the lipolysis in human beings . It is known that environmental factors interfere in the obesity phenotype in genetically susceptible patients. Physical training is considered as being an efficient physiological stimulant to the sympathetic nervous system. Our patients were submitted to a hypocaloric diet or to a hypocaloric diet plus physical training. The patients presenting polymorphism who were submitted to physical training had weight loss and reductions in their fat mass, body mass index and abdominal circunference...
