[Choice of anesthesia in operations for goiter]. / Vybor obezbolivaniia pri operatsiiakh po povodu zoba.

Different kinds of anesthesia used in 2644 patients were analysed with special reference to the fact that patients with diseases of goiter had pronounced endocrine shifts. It was shown that there were no reasons to oppose different methods of anesthesia to one another. Each of them has its indications and contraindications corresponding to specific features of the disease.
