ABSTRACT

Within a framework of national program on elimination of nuclear legacy, State Corporation "Rosatom" is working on rehabilitation at the temporary waste storage facility at Andreeva Bay (Northwest Center for radioactive waste "SEVRAO"--the branch of "RosRAO"), located in the North-West of Russia. In the article there is presented an analysis of the current state of supervision for radiation safety of personnel and population in the context of readiness of the regulator to the implementation of an effective oversight of radiation safety in the process of radiation-hazardous work. Presented in the article results of radiation-hygienic monitoring are an informative indicator of the effectiveness of realized rehabilitation measures and characterize the radiation environment in the surveillance zone as a normal, without the tendency to its deterioration.

ABSTRACT

The main objective of a research in the early diagnostics of a functional condition of a liver, is to estimate the degree of the level of its expressiveness and timely pathogenetic correction on the basis of the free radical system processes of studying of patients with mechanical jaundice. Results were carried out among 61 patients with pathologies of bile tracts( biliary ducts) which proved the essential role of free radical processes with strengthening of peroxidation of membrane lipids against the absolute or relative insufficiency of endogenic antioxidants in the mechanism of development of hepatic insufficiency at the given category of patients with the highest degree expressed at the serious conditions of the patients with malignant diseases. It is revealed that the inclusion of energy corrector antioxidants of reamberin to the therapy as a part of standard schemes of treatment promoted positive regressing dynamics of parameters of free radical processes that are correlated with positive clinical symptoms and outcome of diseases.

ABSTRACT

The results of treatment and examination were analyzed in 175 patients admitted to a clinic for sterile pancreonecrosis (PN). The significance of routinely available (clinical, biochemical, and microbiological) laboratory tests in the diagnosis of purulent complications was analyzed in patients with varying severity of pancreatic autolysis. Complex laboratory monitoring was found to be of importance in predicting and detecting infected PN with obligatory fine-needle punctures under ultrasound guidance and further microscopic studies of puncture specimens.
