We studied efficiency of intratissue electrophoresis of 1% huminate solution in rehabilitation of patients operated on the stomach and biliary tracts with functional deficiency of the stress-limiting system (SLS). The above electrophoresis stimulates SLS and promotes earlier start of therapeutic response.

Experimental data indicated as well suppression of the microsomal drug-metabolizing system of liver caused by long-term exposure of the body to low-dose ionizing radiation. The results obtained should be taken into consideration in such patients for the slowed down drug metabolism in liver may provoke side effects.
