ABSTRACT
Granular cell tumor of the pituitary stalk is an uncommon benign lesion that usually appears like a suprasellar mass with visual disturbances. This diagnosis should be considered with the discovery of neurohypophysis tumors. Histological confirmation remains essential. We describe one case of this rare entity and review the literature.
ABSTRACT
Killian-Jamieson diverticulum (KJD) is a rare entity resulting from the mucosal herniation through a lateral area of weakness known as the Killian-Jamieson space below the cricopharyngeal muscle. Ultrasonographic diagnosis is exceptional. Moreover, symptoms are found in only eleven percent of patients. KJD in its symptomatic form must be correctly identified because its therapeutic management is in some points different of Zenker's diverticulum.
ABSTRACT
Esthesioneuroblastoma is a rare tumor localized in the superior part of the nasal cavity. Extension in the anterior cerebral fossa is sometimes observed. As we discovered in our patient, the location of the tumor above the cribriform plate was very unusual and meningioma was suspected. Features and prognosis are discussed below.

We report the case of a 55-year-old woman who presented at the emergency department with hypogastric pain, fever, clinical signs of sepsis and a critical inflammation syndrome in her blood test values. CT-scan of the abdomen demonstrated an infected aneurysm of the right iliac artery. The patient underwent surgery with a favorable outcome. Histological examination of resected artery was performed and compared to the CT features. The authors review the literature and stress the importance of early diagnosis and treatement.

The authors report the case of an osteoid osteoma of the acetabular roof in a 17-year-old sportsgirl successfully treated by radiofrequency ablation, with a mid-term evidence of cartilage loss. Extra-articular access and exact positioning of the needle electrode exclude direct operative chondral damage. Intense physical activity could be an aggravating factor for the chondropathy. It is difficult to determine whether the acetabular cartilage joint was damaged only by thermo-ablation or if it had also been weakened before by the O.O. The authors caution practitioners from using this technique for para-articular lesions, especially near weight-bearing joints.

The development of bone sarcoma in a patient with Paget disease is a classic but rare event. The authors describe the XR, CT and MR features of an undifferentiated Paget sarcoma arising in the proximal ulna, a very rare location of this tumoral complication. Clinical symptoms, radiological pattern and epidemiology are discussed. In every Paget patient presenting with a new or different pain, with or without mass effect, the radiologist has to search for signs of sarcomatous transformation, i.e. cortical osteolysis, soft tissue mass and sometimes an associated fracture.

The authors present two observations of degenerative spondylolisthesis causing canal stenosis in which the stenosis was not apparent on MRI examination, due to reduction of spondylolisthesis in the supine position. In these cases, MR images of the facet joints showed unusual large areas with hypersignal on T2 weighted images suggestive of fluid collection. Observation of such images on supine MRI images should raise the suspicion of a spondylolisthesis existing on standing examination but reduced by the supine position, possibly leading to underestimating the canal stenosis.
