ABSTRACT

In the work there are considered results of the development of the multicomponent method of measurement of concentration of herbicides of various chemical nature under their joint presence in the water. There was justified the optimality of application of HPLC-DAD (the working wavelength of 240 nm) for the determination of levels of 10 active ingredients of herbicides of class of sulfonylurea (metsulfuron-methyl, nikosulfuron, sulfometuron-methyl, thifensulfuron-methyl, triflusulfuron-methyl), imidazolinone (imazapyr, imazethapyr), 2,6-Bis[(4,6-dimethoxy-2- pyrimidinyl)oxy]benzoic acid (bispyribac acid), triazol-pyrimidines (Penoxsulam), a benzoylpyrazole compound (Topramenzone). For the concentrating and cleaning of samples of water there were used cartridges for solid-phase extraction of Oasis HLB - the macro porous copolymer made on the basis of the balanced ratio of 2 monomers - lipophilic divinylbenzene and hydrophilic N-vinylpirrolidone. The range of the detected concentrations in water was volatile between 0.0005 and 0.005 mg/L, values of standard deviation vary in the range of 1.8-3.9%. Chlorine-containing acidic herbicides were analyzed by the method of GC-ECD and GC-MS (IE) after preliminary converting of compounds into flying derivatives with the use of diazomethane. Satisfactory extraction of substances from a water sample may be achieved by classical extraction in the system "liquid-liquid" with the application of Methyl tert-butyl ester. For cleaning of the derivatized sample there were used cartridges for solid-phase extraction on the basis of silica gel. The range of the determination of 9 active ingredients referring to classes of phenoxy-acetic acid (2,4- D, MCPA), pyridinecarboxylic (aminopyiralid, picloram, clopyralid), benzoic acids (dicamba), benzothiadiazinone (bentazone), biphenyl ester (acifluorfen) and a chloroacetamide (acetochlor) - 0.0001-0.001 mg/L, SD values vary in the range of 1.8-33%.

ABSTRACT

Official statistics of Republican SES on infectious diseases are used. The characteristics of the current epidemiological situation in the Republic of Abkhazia is given. The analysis of infectious dis- eases from 2012 to 2014 is presented. It was found that the most widespread infectious diseases are acute respiratory viral and acute intestinal infection. During the analyzed period in the country outbreaks of dysentery, whooping cough and measles were reported. Epidemic threat is the presence of active natu- ral foci of infectious diseases and permanently disadvantaged anthrax points on the territory ofAbkhazia. Activities carried out by the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Abkhazia with the help and active participation of Rospotrebnadzor contributed stabilization the epidemiological situation.

ABSTRACT

The article presents data on the implementation of a set of preventive activities to ensure sanitation and epidemiological welfare during the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games 2014 in Sochi. The importance of monitoring and evaluation of epidemiological risk, as the basis of formation of preventive measures is noticed. The questions of specific, and nonspecific prevention of infectious diseases, especially the work done during the pre-Olympic period are considered. The importance of specifically developed regulatory basis, and health education are emphasized. The conclusion about the effectiveness of the measures taken, which led to a significant reduction of infectious diseases in the region is made.

ABSTRACT

The paper generalizes the experience of formation of protection system against biological threats and ensuring sanitary and epidemiological welfare during preparation for the XXII Olympic Winter Games and XI Paralympic Winter Games of 2014 in Sochi. The basic steps for creating this system, since 2007, participation and role of Rospotrebnadzor in this process are shown. The paper deals with such questions as the governmental and administrative structures with federal agencies interaction, development of a regulatory framework governing the safety system of the Olympic Games, development of algorithms of information exchange and management decisions, biological safety in developing infrastructure in Sochi.

ABSTRACT

Pesticides belong to persistent pollutants and pose a potential danger to people's health. The conditions of storing and utilizing the wastes do not meet, in many cases, the sanitary-and-hygienic requirements. The control over residual pesticides in foodstuffs and in the environment is indicative, in an number of cases, of that they exceed the admissible content values. The methodical basis does not ensure, to the full extent, a quantitative analysis of pesticides. An evaluation of risk within the system of social-and-hygienic monitoring must comprise a potential danger of pesticides.
