ABSTRACT

This paper is devoted to the problem of biofeedback and self-regulation in the human neuromuscular system. On the base of our experimental data we revealed the existence of the three informative frequency band in the range 100-150, 140-210 and 180-300 p.s. The task of measuring of the autooscillations is solved by inserting the appropriate muscle area as the positive elements of electromechanical feedback generator including the amplifier and two electromechanical transducers. The tested muscle group being strained and actively or passively relaxed in turn. The integrated relationships between the autooscillations of the muscle group of the right and left hand turned out the family of straight lines. We got a mathematical expressions for the characteristics curves with the discrete constant coefficient.

ABSTRACT

Acute myocardial ischemia was induced by reducing the lumen of the anterior descending branch of the left coronary artery in 32 mongrel dogs. Following 60 min of ischemia, 16 animals were infused perfluorine carbon emulsion (10 ml/kg) and 16 were given saline. Alteration in hemodynamics, myocardial contractility, coronary blood flow, as well as pH and pO2 in the ischemic area were examined. The analysis of the results showed that carbon tetrafluoride emulsion, in contrast to saline, substantially increased coronary blood flow and oxygen supply in the ischemic area decreased myocardial ischemic and reperfusion lesion, improved hemodynamic parameters and myocardial contractility.

ABSTRACT

The experience with 100 operations of the internal drainage of the thoracic lymphatic duct has shown technical difficulties of the procedure. In relation with concrete topographo-anatomical conditions the authors recommend to use reimplantation of the thoracic lymphatic duct and plastic operations on its orifice in addition to the lymphovenous anastomosis. Their technique is described.
