ABSTRACT

Starting with two clinical cases with superior oesophageal diverticuli, the authors review the older and more recent data in the literature concerning the etiology, pathogeny, the experimental study as well as the clinical one of the oesophageal diverticulosis. In the end there are presented some conclusions regarding this affection and its treatment.
