ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Heat-related illness (HRI) is commonly considered an acute condition, and its potential long-term consequences are not well understood. We conducted a population-based cohort study and an animal experiment to evaluate whether HRI is associated with dementia later in life. METHODS: The Taiwan National Health Insurance Research Database was used in the epidemiological study. We identified newly diagnosed HRI patients between 2001 and 2015, but excluded those with any pre-existing dementia, as the study cohort. Through matching by age, sex, and the index date with the study cohort, we selected individuals without HRI and without any pre-existing dementia as a comparison cohort at a 1:4 ratio. We followed each cohort member until the end of 2018 and compared the risk between the two cohorts using Cox proportional hazards regression models. In the animal experiment, we used a rat model to assess cognitive functions and the histopathological changes in the hippocampus after a heat stroke event. RESULTS: In the epidemiological study, the study cohort consisted of 70,721 HRI patients and the comparison cohort consisted of 282,884 individuals without HRI. After adjusting for potential confounders, the HRI patients had a higher risk of dementia (adjusted hazard ratio [AHR] = 1.24; 95% confidence interval [CI]: 1.19-1.29). Patients with heat stroke had a higher risk of dementia compared with individuals without HRI (AHR = 1.26; 95% CI: 1.18-1.34). In the animal experiment, we found cognitive dysfunction evidenced by animal behavioral tests and observed remarkable neuronal damage, degeneration, apoptosis, and amyloid plaque deposition in the hippocampus after a heat stroke event. CONCLUSIONS: Our epidemiological study indicated that HRI elevated the risk of dementia. This finding was substantiated by the histopathological features observed in the hippocampus, along with the cognitive impairments detected, in the experimental heat stroke rat model.

ABSTRACT

BACKGROUND: Pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC) is a highly aggressive cancer type that urgently requires effective therapeutic strategies. Andrographolide, a labdane diterpenoid compound abundant in Andrographis paniculata, has anticancer effects against various cancer types, but its anticancer activity and mechanism against PDAC remain largely uncharacterized. PURPOSE: This study explores novel drug target(s) and underlying molecular mechanism of andrographolide against PDAC. STUDY DESIGN AND METHODS: The malignant phenotypes of PDAC cells, PANC-1 and MIA PaCa-2 cells, were measured using MTT, clonogenic assays, and Transwell migration assays. A PDAC xenograft animal model was used to evaluate tumor growth in vivo. Western blot, immunofluorescence and immunohistochemistry were used for measuring protein expression. The TCGA database was analyzed to evaluate promoter methylation status, gene expression, and their relationship with patient survival rates. RT-qPCR was used for detecting mRNA expression. Reporter assays were used for detecting signal transduction pathways. Promoter DNA methylation was determined by sodium bisulfite treatment and methylation-specific PCR (MSP). The biological function and role of specific genes involved in drug effects were measured through gene overexpression. RESULTS: Andrographolide treatment suppressed the proliferation and migration of PDAC cells and impaired tumor growth in vivo. Furthermore, andrographolide induced the mRNA and protein expression of zinc finger protein 382 (ZNF382) in PDAC cells. Overexpression of ZNF382 inhibited malignant phenotypes and cancer-associated signaling pathways (AP-1, NF-κB and ß-catenin) and oncogenes (ZEB-1, STAT-3, STAT-5, and HIF-1α). Overexpression of ZNF382 delayed growth of PANC-1 cells in vivo. ZNF382 mRNA and protein expression was lower in tumor tissues than in adjacent normal tissues of pancreatic cancer patients. Analysis of the TCGA database found the ZNF382 promoter is hypermethylated in primary pancreatic tumors which correlates with its low expression. Furthermore, andrographolide inhibited the expression of DNA methyltransferase 3 beta (DNMT3B) and increased the demethylation of the ZNF382 promoter in PDAC cells. Overexpression of DNMT3B attenuated the andrographolide-suppressed proliferation and migration of PDAC cells. CONCLUSION: Our finding revealed that ZNF382 acts as a tumor suppressor gene in pancreatic cancer and andrographolide restores ZNF382 expression to suppress pancreatic cancer, providing a novel molecular target and a promising therapeutic approach for treating pancreatic cancer.

Background: The comparison between the mini-midvastus (mini-MV) and mini-parapatellar (mini-MPP) approach in total knee arthroplasty (TKA) remains a subject of debate. The present study compared quadriceps activation, pain levels, and clinical outcomes between the two approaches; quadricep activation was assessed using surface electromyography (sEMG). Methods: This retrospective cross-sectional study comprised a total of 78 patients aged between 50 and 85 years with primary osteoarthritis. Patients were divided into a mini-MV (n = 38) group and a mini-MPP (n = 40) group according to the surgical approach. Results: The two groups exhibited no significant differences in sEMG for the vastus medialis (VM) or rectus femoris (RF) at the follow-up time points, with the exception that the mini-MV group exhibited superior strength of RF during extensions at the 2-week follow-up. However, the mini-MPP group had superior Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Index (WOMAC) total and function scores at the 2- and 6-week follow-ups. The mini-MPP group also had superior WOMAC stiffness scores at the 2-week follow-up. The two groups did not differ significantly in terms of pain levels or morphine consumption. Conclusions: The sEMG data of quadriceps muscle would not differ significantly between the mini-MV and mini-MPP approaches for TKA. Moreover, the mini-MPP approach may yield superior WOMAC scores when compared with the mini-MV approach.

ABSTRACT

FNDC3B (fibronectin type III domain containing 3B) is highly expressed in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and other cancer types, and fusion genes involving FNDC3B have been identified in HCC and leukemia. Growing evidence suggests the significance of FNDC3B in tumorigenesis, particularly in cell migration and tumor metastasis. However, its regulatory mechanisms remain elusive. In this study, we employed bioinformatic, gene regulation, and protein-DNA interaction screening to investigate the transcription factors (TFs) involved in regulating FNDC3B. Initially, 338 candidate TFs were selected based on previous chromatin immunoprecipitation (ChIP)-seq experiments available in public domain databases. Through TF knockdown screening and ChIP coupled with Droplet Digital PCR assays, we identified that E2F1 (E2F transcription factor 1) is crucial for the activation of FNDC3B. Overexpression or knockdown of E2F1 significantly impacts the expression of FNDC3B. In conclusion, our study elucidated the mechanistic link between FNDC3B and E2F1. These findings contribute to a better understanding of FNDC3B in tumorigenesis and provide insights into potential therapeutic targets for cancer treatment.

RATIONALE AND OBJECTIVES: To evaluate the association between positron emission tomography (PET)/magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) biomarkers and survival outcomes in patients with endometrial cancer. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Between April 2014 and April 2016, 88 patients with newly diagnosed endometrial cancer participated this prospective study and underwent [18F] fluorodeoxyglucose PET/MRI. Sixty-nine patients with measurable tumors on PET/MRI were included in the image analysis. Imaging biomarkers included the minimum and mean apparent diffusion coefficients (ADCmin and ADCmean), maximum standardized uptake value (SUVmax), metabolic tumor volume (MTV), and total lesion glycolysis (TLG) of the primary tumors. The log-rank test and Cox proportional hazards model were used to assess the relationship between imaging biomarkers and survival. RESULTS: After a median follow-up of 80 months, 15 (22%) patients had tumor progression and six (9%) patients died. The results of ADCmin, ADCmean, and SUVmax did not show a significant association with progression-free survival (PFS) and overall survival (OS). Significantly shorter PFS was noted in patients with primary tumors with higher MTV (P < 0.001) and TLG (P < 0.001). Significantly shorter OS was also noted in patients with primary tumors with higher MTV (P = 0.048) and TLG (P = 0.034). In the multivariate analysis, MTV was an independent predictor of PFS (hazard ratio = 10.84, P = 0.033). CONCLUSION: PET/MRI biomarkers, particularly MTV and TLG, are associated with PFS and OS in patients with endometrial cancer. MTV was an independent predictor of PFS.

ABSTRACT

Although combination therapy including chemotherapy and immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) improves overall survival (OS) of patients with non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), there is a higher incidence of adverse events and treatment discontinuation. Since programmed death-ligand 1 (PD-L1) could not serve as a predictive biomarker, we investigated the neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) as a predictive biomarker. In our previous research, we demonstrated that a low NLR could predict survival benefits when patients with high PD-L1 expression (> 50%) received chemoimmunotherapy as opposed to immunotherapy alone. In this current study, our objective is to evaluate this predictive capacity in patients with low PD-L1 expression (< 50%). A total of 142 patients were enrolled, 28 receiving combination therapy and 114 receiving chemotherapy alone. Progression-free survival (PFS) and OS were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method and compared using the log-rank test. Patients who received combination therapy had significantly better PFS and OS than those who received monotherapy. In the subgroup of patients with low NLR, those who received combination therapy exhibited extended PFS and OS with clinical significance, which was also confirmed by multivariate Cox regression analysis. Our study demonstrates the potential use of NLR as a biomarker for predicting survival benefits when receiving combination therapy with chemotherapy and ICIs in patients with advanced NSCLC and low PD-L1 expression.

Background: Invasive pulmonary aspergillosis (IPA) can negatively impact cancer patients' survival. It remains uncertain whether IPA's impact on patient outcomes varies by treatment approach in advanced lung cancer. Objectives: To explore the association between IPA and outcomes in patients with advanced lung cancer receiving different treatments. Design: A retrospective cohort study. Methods: We enrolled patients with advanced-stage lung cancer between 2013 and 2021 at a college hospital in Taiwan and used the 2021 European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer/Mycoses Study Group Education and Research Consortium consensus for IPA diagnosis. Multivariable logistic regression was used to identify the IPA risk factors. We compared overall survival (OS) and postgalactomannan (GM) test survival between the IPA and control groups using multivariable Cox proportional hazards regression and the Kaplan-Meier method with propensity score matching (PSM). Results: Among 2543 patients with advanced-stage lung cancer, 290 underwent a GM test, of which 34 (11.7%) were diagnosed with IPA. Patients undergoing chemotherapy (HR = 4.02, p = 0.027) and immunotherapy [hazard ratio (HR) = 3.41, p = 0.076] tended to have IPA. Compared to the control group, the IPA group had shorter median OS (14.4 versus 9.9 months, p = 0.030) and post-GM test survival (4.5 versus 1.9 months, p = 0.003). IPA was associated with shorter OS (log-rank p = 0.014 and 0.018 before and after PSM, respectively) and shorter 1-year and 2-year survival post-GM test (HR = 1.65 and 1.66, respectively). Patients receiving chemotherapy or immunotherapy had a shorter post-GM test survival if they had IPA. Conclusions: IPA tended to be diagnosed more frequently in patients receiving chemotherapy or immune checkpoint inhibitors. Patients diagnosed with IPA are associated with shorter survival. Larger cohort studies are needed to verify the observations.

ABSTRACT

Gastric cancer is a common cancer worldwide, particularly in East Asia. Chemotherapy is used in adjuvant or palliative therapies for gastric cancer. However, subsequent chemoresistance often develops. Growth differentiation factor 15 (GDF15) links to several cancers, but its effect on chemoresistance in gastric cancer remains unclear. Here, we analyzed clinical samples from genetic databases and included patients with gastric cancer. We dissected the regulatory mechanism underlying GDF15-mediated resistance of cisplatin in human gastric cancer cells. We showed that GDF15 serum levels might be a valuable biomarker for predicting prognosis in gastric cancer. The expressions of GDF15 and its receptor glial cell-derived neurotrophic factor family receptor a-like (GFRAL) in gastric tumors are important for malignant progression. Moreover, GDF15 expression is increased in gastric cancer cells with cisplatin resistance, resulting from elevated intracellular glutathione (GSH) and antioxidant activities. Upregulated GDF15 could increase intracellular GSH content by activating the GFRAL-GCN2-eIF2α-ATF4 signaling, enhancing cystine-uptake transporter xCT expression, and contributing biosynthesis of GSH in human gastric cancer cells. In conclusion, our results indicate that GDF15 could induce chemoresistance by upregulating xCT expression and GSH biosynthesis in human gastric cancer cells. Targeting GDF15 could be a promising treatment method for gastric cancer progression.

ABSTRACT

ETHNOPHARMACOLOGICAL RELEVANCE: Kuan-Sin-Yin (KSY) is a traditional Chinese medical decoction, designed based on the classic Si-Jun-Zi-Tang decoction and used clinically to improve the synergic effects of energy promotion, liver function and cancer related symptom and quality of life. However, the anti-hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) function of KSY is unclear. AIM OF THE STUDY: This study aimed to investigate the anti-mobility activity of KSY on HCC cells and elucidate its molecular mechanism. MATERIALS AND METHODS: Two malignancy hepatocellular carcinoma cells, Mahlavu and SK-Hep-1, were used for the test of cell proliferation via alarm blue assay. The wound healing and Transwell assays were used to determine the anti-mobility activity of KSY in HCC cells. Cell morphology was analyzed via confocal microscopy. The genomic profile of KSY-treated HCC cells was analyzed by microarray. The potential signaling pathways and bio-functions of KSY-mediated genes were analyzed by ingenuity pathway analysis (IPA). Reverse transcription-quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) was used to detect the messenger RNA (mRNA) level of indicated gene. RESULTS: KSY did not affect cell viability of HCC cells but significantly inhibited cell migration and invasion in those HCC Mahlavu and SK-Hep-1 cells. In parallel, KSY induced changes in morphology of HCC cells via re-modulating actin cytoskeleton. KSY upregulated 1270 genes but reduced 1534 genes in Mahlavu cells. KSY regulated various gene networks which controlled cell migration, invasion and movement. Specifically, KSY reduced expression of chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 2 (CCL2), which is correlated to cell mobility, and concomitantly downregulated mRNA levels of phosphoinositide-3-kinase regulatory subunit 3 (PIK3R3) and CEA cell adhesion molecule 1 (CEACAM1). CONCLUSION: These findings indicated that regulation of CCL2-mediated PIK3R3 and CEACAM1 may be involved in KSY inhibited cell mobility. Moreover, KSY may be a potential a Chinese decoction for reducing cell mobility.

ABSTRACT

We report two cases of traumatic iliopsoas hemorrhage, without hemoperitoneum, initially detected by ultrasound. Flexion hip contracture in the first case and incomplete femoral nerve palsy in the second case alerted the sonographer to the possibility of traumatic iliopsoas hemorrhage. The first case involved a 54-year-old man who complained of progressive right flank pain and difficulty in walking after falling to the ground. The second case involved a 34-year-old man who complained of severe lower back pain and numbness and weakness of the left leg after a motorcycle accident. In both cases, iliopsoas hemorrhage was confirmed on subsequent multidetector computed tomography.

BACKGROUND: Some prospective studies have shown that second-generation tyrosine kinase inhibitors (TKIs) provide better control in patients with non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) with uncommon epidermal growth factor receptor (EGFR) mutations. However, studies comparing second-line chemotherapy efficacy between NSCLC patients with common and uncommon EGFR mutations remain rare. This retrospective study compared treatment outcomes in these patients. METHODS: Patients with EGFR-mutated advanced-stage NSCLC who received first-line EGFR-TKIs in a tertiary referral center were retrospectively reviewed between January 2010 and August 2022. Patients with a negative T790M test at disease progression who received second-line chemotherapy were enrolled. We compared progression-free (PFS) and overall (OS) survival between advanced NSCLC patients with common and uncommon EGFR mutations using Kaplan-Meier and log-rank tests. RESULTS: In total, 209 (54.8%) patients had a negative T790M mutation test and received second-line chemotherapy, of which 192 (91.8%) had a common EGFR mutation (exon 19 deletion or exon 21 L858R substitution), and 17 (8.2%) had an uncommon EGFR mutation. Patients with common EGFR mutations had significantly longer PFS than those with uncommon EGFR mutations (4.57 vs. 2.57 months, p = 0.031). A Cox proportional hazard regression analysis controlling for potential confounding factors indicated that an uncommon EGFR mutation was an independent prognostic factor for PFS. CONCLUSION: This study suggests that patients with uncommon EGFR mutations have poorer chemotherapy responses and shorter survival than those with common EGFR mutations. The development of new treatment strategies for these patients remains an unmet need.

Alveolar macrophages (AMs) are the drivers of pulmonary cytokine storm in severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) infection. This study aimed to investigate clinical-regulatory factors for the entrance protein of SARS-CoV-2, angiotensin-converting enzyme 2 (ACE2) in AMs. Human AMs were collected from 56 patients using bronchoalveolar lavage. ACE2 expression in AMs was positively correlated with smoking pack-year (Spearman's r = 0.347, P = 0.038). In multivariate analysis, current smoking was associated with increased ACE2 in AMs (ß-coefficient: 0.791, 95% CI 0.019-1.562, P = 0.045). In vitro study, ex-vivo human AMs with higher ACE2 were more susceptible to SARS-CoV-2 pseudovirus (CoV-2 PsV). Treating human AMs using cigarette smoking extract (CSE) increases the ACE2 and susceptibility to CoV-2 PsV. CSE did not significantly increase the ACE2 in AMs of reactive oxygen species (ROS) deficient Cybb-/- mice; however, exogenous ROS increased the ACE2 in Cybb-/- AMs. N-acetylcysteine (NAC) decreases ACE2 by suppressing intracellular ROS in human AMs. In conclusion, cigarette smoking increases the susceptibility to SARS-CoV-2 by increasing ROS-induced ACE2 expression of AMs. Further investigation into the preventive effect of NAC on the pulmonary complications of COVID-19 is required.

ABSTRACT

The role of Programmed Cell Death Ligand 1 (PD-L1) expression in predicting epidermal growth factor receptor tyrosine kinase inhibitor (EGFR-TKIs) efficacy remains controversial. Recent studies have highlighted that tumor-intrinsic PD-L1 signaling can be modulated by STAT3, AKT, MET oncogenic pathway, epithelial-mesenchymal transition, or BIM expression. This study aimed to investigate whether these underlying mechanisms affect the prognostic role of PD-L1. We retrospectively enrolled patients with EGFR mutant advanced stage NSCLC who received first-line EGFR-TKI between January 2017 and June 2019, the treatment efficacy of EGFR-TKI was assessed. Kaplan-Meier analysis of progression-free survival (PFS) revealed that patients with high BIM expression had shorter PFS, regardless of PD-L1 expression. This result was also supported by the COX proportional hazard regression analysis. In vitro, we further proved that the knockdown of BIM, instead of PDL1, induced more cell apoptosis following gefitinib treatment. Our data suggest that among the pathways affecting tumor-intrinsic PD-L1 signaling, BIM is potentially the underlying mechanism that affects the role of PD-L1 expression in predicting response to EGFR TKI and mediates cell apoptosis under treatment with gefitinib in EGFR-mutant NSCLC. Further prospective studies are required to validate these results.

Basket trials evaluate a single drug targeting a single genetic variant in multiple cancer cohorts. Empirical findings suggest that treatment efficacy across baskets may be heterogeneous. Most modern basket trial designs use Bayesian methods. These methods require the prior specification of at least one parameter that permits information sharing across baskets. In this study, we provide recommendations for selecting a prior for scale parameters for adaptive basket trials by using Bayesian hierarchical modeling. Heterogeneity among baskets attracts much attention in basket trial research, and substantial heterogeneity challenges the basic assumption of exchangeability of Bayesian hierarchical approach. Thus, we also allowed each stratum-specific parameter to be exchangeable or nonexchangeable with similar strata by using data observed in an interim analysis. Through a simulation study, we evaluated the overall performance of our design based on statistical power and type I error rates. Our research contributes to the understanding of the properties of Bayesian basket trial designs.

ABSTRACT

Nanoparticles (NPs) with feature sizes ranging between 1 nm and 100 nm have increasingly gained momentum for their versatile functionality as the pharmaceutical agents in many branches of biomedical research and clinical experiments. However, NPs' inherent material toxicity and the concomitant adverse effects of their function, such as photo-physical properties, often remain a major concern over the issues of environmental safety and human health, and require a thorough assessment before a wide-spread usage can be complied. This research herein investigates the intrinsic and photothermal toxicity of Cs0.33WO3 NPs solution in zebrafish larvae through a direct immersion method. Experimentally, the survival, hatching and malformation rates of zebrafish embryo/larvae as functions of the NP feature sizes, concentration and duration of photothermal dose were examined and analyzed. This study verified that the Cs0.33WO3 NPs has an intrinsic toxicity on a scale of a fraction of 1 mg/ml, and the phototoxicity effect of the NIR-irradiated NPs, when irradiated for 30 min, can affect the embryogenesis of zebrafish larvae and causes 60% and 50% in the survival and delayed hatching rates, respectively, as well as a severe malformation.

ABSTRACT

The use of immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) has provided overall survival (OS) benefits in patients with treatment-naïve advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) without targetable driver mutations. However, studies comparing ICIs monotherapy with combination therapy either with chemotherapy or radiotherapy in programmed death-ligand 1 high expressors remain limited. This study aimed to retrospectively compare the treatment efficacy of the therapies by studying 47 patients with treatment-naïve advanced NSCLC who received ICI monotherapy (n = 28) or combination therapy either with chemotherapy or radiotherapy (n = 19). Progression-free survival (PFS) and OS were estimated using the Kaplan-Meier method and compared using log-rank tests. It was observed that patients who received combination therapy had a better PFS than monotherapy, but no such significant benefit was observed in OS. The difference in PFS was higher in the subgroup of patients with low neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) than in the high-NLR patient subgroup. This study suggests that pembrolizumab in combination with chemotherapy or radiotherapy could provide a significant benefit in PFS, especially in patients with treatment-naïve advanced NSCLC with low NLR. Furthermore, our study also demonstrates the potential use of NLR as a biomarker for prediction of treatment outcomes in patients with advanced NSCLC receiving combination therapy.

Most ovarian cancer patients experience disease recurrence and chemotherapeutic resistance, and the underlying mechanisms are unclear. Identifying relevant pathways could reveal new therapeutic targets. Here we examined expression of transmembrane protein 102 (TMEM102), a biomarker of prognosis and chemoresistance, in epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC), and assessed its role in inhibiting tumor cell apoptosis. We performed qRT-PCR to investigate the association of TMEM102 expression with clinical outcomes in 226 EOC patients. We also conducted in vitro studies to explore possible mechanisms through which TMEM102 may influence chemoresistance, including the effects of downregulating TMEM102 expression with small interfering RNA. Serous and high-grade carcinomas expressed significantly higher TMEM102 than normal ovarian tissues. TMEM102 was also overexpressed in patients with advanced-stage disease and chemoresistance. Reduction of TMEM102 expression by small interfering RNA induced ovarian cancer cell apoptosis after cytotoxic treatment. TMEM102 overexpression enhanced chemoresistance via upregulation of heat shock proteins 27, 60, and 70; and survivin, resulting in decreased cytochrome c in the mitochondria and decreased caspase 9 expression. Our results indicate that TMEM102 overexpression may promote chemoresistance via inhibition of a mitochondria-associated apoptotic pathway.

Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is usually diagnosed at an advanced stage and has poor prognosis. Theranostic agents are the current trend in drug development, but are lacking in EOC. YKL40 is predominantly expressed and involved in tumorigenesis in EOC. In this study, we developed a companion theranostic agent targeting YKL40. We measured YKL40 expression levels in ascites using ELISA and correlated them with the clinical outcomes of patients with EOC. We developed radionuclide labeled In-111/Lu-177-DTPA-YKL40 neutralizing antibodies and investigated their radiochemical purity, SPECT/CT imaging, bio-distribution, and therapeutic responses in ovarian cancer xenograft mice. We demonstrated that YKL40 expression levels in ascites were significantly higher in EOC patients with serous histological type, high tumor grade, advanced stage, tumor recurrence, chemoresistance, and tumor-related death. The radiochemical purity of In-111/Lu-177-DTPA-YKL40 neutralizing antibodies reached more than 90% after 24 h of labeling. SPECT/CT imaging showed significant accumulation of In-111-DTPA-YKL40 and Lu-177-DTPA-YKL40 antibodies at the tumor site of ovarian cancer xenograft mice 24 h after administration. Lu-177-DTPA-YKL40 antibodies significantly inhibited tumor growth in ovarian cancer xenograft mice. Our study indicated that In-111/Lu-177-DTPA-YKL40 neutralizing antibodies could be potential companion theranostic agents for patients with EOC.
