ABSTRACT

Radiation shielding concrete is one of the most used materials in the construction of nuclear power plants and will be subjected to high temperatures for a long time during its service life. This study aims to investigate deterioration of radiation shielding concrete with multiple heating at different temperatures. A microwave oven was used as a heating apparatus to simulate irradiation, and 200, 300, and 400 °C were selected as experimental cycle temperatures. The apparent characteristics, mass loss, splitting tensile strength, and gamma ray shielding properties of the commonly used magnetite shielding concrete were investigated. The results showed that the splitting tensile strength and gamma shielding performance of concrete were dramatically reduced at first heating. Then, as the heating times increased, the splitting tensile strength and gamma shielding properties of the concrete continued to deteriorate, and the higher the increase in heating temperature, the more severe the deterioration of the concrete. During the service period of radiation shielded concrete, the magnitude of temperature under the service conditions will affect the deterioration degree of concrete, and the continuous change of temperature will continuously lead to the deterioration of concrete.

ABSTRACT

Distributed electric drive technology has become an important trend because of its ability to enhance the dynamic performance of multi-axle heavy vehicle. This article presents a joint estimation of vehicle's state and parameters based on the dual unscented Kalman filter. First, a 12-degrees-of-freedom dynamic model of an 8 × 8 distributed electric vehicle is established. Considering the dynamic variation of some key parameters for heavy vehicle, a real-time parameter estimator is introduced, based on which simultaneous estimation of vehicle's state and parameters is implemented under the dual unscented Kalman filter framework. Simulation results show that the dual unscented Kalman filter estimator has a high estimation accuracy for multi-axle distributed electric vehicle's state and key parameters. Therefore, it is reliable for vehicle dynamics control without the influence of unknown or varying parameters.

ABSTRACT

Accurate target detection is the basis of normal driving for intelligent vehicles. However, the sensors currently used for target detection have types of defects at the perception level, which can be compensated by sensor fusion technology. In this paper, the application of sensor fusion technology in intelligent vehicle target detection is studied with a millimeter-wave (MMW) radar and a camera. The target level fusion hierarchy is adopted, and the fusion algorithm is divided into two tracking processing modules and one fusion center module based on the distributed structure. The measurement information output by two sensors enters the tracking processing module, and after processing by a multi-target tracking algorithm, the local tracks are generated and transmitted to the fusion center module. In the fusion center module, a two-level association structure is designed based on regional collision association and weighted track association. The association between two sensors' local tracks is completed, and a non-reset federated filter is used to estimate the state of the fusion tracks. The experimental results indicate that the proposed algorithm can complete a tracks association between the MMW radar and camera, and the fusion track state estimation method has an excellent performance.

ABSTRACT

In the light of the theory of treating the internal disease externally, an externally used plaster for treating cough and dyspnea due to acute bronchitis (Ke Chuan Yi Tie Kang [symbol: see text]-[symbol: see text]) was successfully applied to 735 cases of acute bronchitis (the treatment group), with the other 423 cases treated with routine western drugs as controls. The results showed that the cure rate in the treatment group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P < 0.01); and that in the treatment group, the cure rate for the wind-cold type of acute bronchitis was significantly higher than that for the wind-heat type of acute bronchitis (P < 0.01).
