ABSTRACT
We studied 19 in patients with serious pulmonary or genito-urinary infections related to cancer of various origin. The patients were treated with amikacin (7.5 mg/kg/day) and clindamycin. The clinical response was found "satisfactory" in 16 of the treated group; the bacteriological response was "good" in 12 and "nearly good" in 4 of treated patients. We found no side-effects.
